Esther and Don

Don and his wife Ester built their home over 50 years ago in Fair Oaks California.  Don  always dreamed of him and Ester living there together for the rest of their lives. 

When Ester passed away, at first Don thought about moving to an independent living facility  Soon, however, he became determined to remain in his and Ester’s home for the rest of his life. He said that this is where he felt close to Ester.  When he began struggling to get around, Don was afraid that he would have to leave his home.  He knew that he needed help but couldn't even think about what would happen next.  He also had a large German shepherd dog named George who he was deeply attached to and had become his closest friend.  He could not bear the thought of not living with his dog, George.

When Don’s daughter visited him, she was shocked about how much trouble he was having moving around.  Don’s daughter talked with his neighbor and learned about ALL FOR YOU HOME CARE.  She said that she had used this company with her mother and everything worked out terrific. The daughter called and scheduled an assessment for the next day.  Don said that the care plan had to cover George as well as himself. He told them that George would have to approve of the caregivers.

Don says
“ My daughter was scared that I was alone.  Now these people (ALL FOR YOU HOME CARE) are here and she’s done worrying about me.  I’m happy with my caregivers. I like them almost as much as George!”
